A practical pathway to an agriculture career

The Agriculture Transfer pathway helps students prepare for transfer to a four-year school or university in an agriculture program. Our transfer pathway provides a comprehensive set of courses in agricultural sciences, economics, engineering, and business. Students receive both theoretical and practical training in agriculture, allowing them to succeed in this dynamic and ever-changing field.

We offer courses in animal sciences, plant sciences, soil sciences, food production, and agricultural business. Our courses are designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn core principles of agriculture while developing skills for success in the workforce. In addition, our program provides students with hands-on experience in the field, allowing them to apply their knowledge in real-life situations.

Agriculture Transfer Pathway (AS Degree)

The Agriculture Transfer Pathway is for students who plan to transfer to a university and earn a Bachelor’s degree in an agriculture related field, like Agri-Business, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Soil or Grain Science, or Food Science. The classes you need will depend on where you want to transfer and what major you choose. Talk to your advisor about which classes to take to get ready for your major and college.
