Coming to America from Spain was a bit of a transition for Arnau Sagrera Barnet. After nearly two years as a student at Cowley College, it is safe to say the change has been a successful one, as Arnau was named the September Student of the Month.

Qualifying to compete at the Kansas Collegiate Quiz Bowl State Championship April 29-30 in Salina, the Cowley Collegiate Quiz Bowl team placed third out of six teams. The team was also the recipient of the Sportsmanship trophy.
Capping another strong season, the Cowley College Quiz Bowl team recently placed 10th out 16 teams at the national championship tournament. The tournament was held over Zoom with Cowley competing at its Wichita Center.
Cowley College took one team of six students to compete at the National Academic Quiz Tournament (NAQT) Sectionals Saturday at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. The team’s top two competitors earned a fourth and fifth place showing individually to help Cowley place third at the tournament.
Taking part in the Collegiate Quiz Bowl Fall Invitational October 23 in Chanute, KS, the Cowley College Quiz Bowl teams stole the show by placing first and third out of eight teams.
Treated to a wonderful dinner and a murder mystery, a large crowd of Cowley College donors attended the annual Cowley College Foundation banquet Thursday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room. Dr. Kori Gregg served as emcee for the evening and thanked those in attendance for their support.
