The magic of Arendelle is coming to life in Arkansas City as a talented cast of local young performers brings Disney’s Frozen Jr. to the stage! Presented by Cowley College & The V.J. Wilkins Foundation, this enchanting musical will run from July 11th to July 13th, 2025, at the Robert Brown Theatre, 125 S. 2nd St., Arkansas City, KS.

Based on the beloved 2013 Disney film and the Broadway adaptation, Frozen Jr. features all the memorable songs from the animated movie, including “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Love Is an Open Door.” With a story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. tells the tale of Princesses Anna and Elsa as they embark on a journey filled with magic, adventure, and heartwarming moments.

“This production is especially exciting because it showcases the incredible talent of our local youth,” said Nick Albrecht, Director of Theatre. “The kids will be working so hard—singing, dancing, and acting their hearts out. Audiences of all ages are going to love it!”

The cast, made up entirely of children and teens from Cowley County, will spend 4-weeks rehearsing to bring this fan-favorite to life. From dazzling costumes and set designs to unforgettable performances, Frozen Jr. is a must-see event for families and fans of all ages.
