Patrick Metzinger

Patrick brings over 15 years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, and research to the classroom, specializing in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, and radiographic inspection.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University and an A.A.S. in Nondestructive Testing Technology from Cowley College, along with ASNT NDT Level 3 certifications in Ultrasonic and Liquid Penetrant Testing.
A member of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing, Patrick has worked for big names in industry including Gulfstream Aerospace, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, and the National Institute for Aviation Research. He has trained NDT technicians in both academic and production environments.
Interests include working on the farm, raising three children, and computer aided design.
